Anticipated growth in the project management-oriented workforce within seven project-oriented sectors is projected to reach 33%, equating to nearly 22 million new jobs by 2027. In the UK, APM research shows an average salary for project professionals of £47,500pa, well above the average annual salary of £38,600 (UK-wide, 2020).
