Biography
Dr. Uri Weill is an Assistant Professor in Biology at Northeastern University London. His scientific interests span molecular and cellular biology, regenerative biology, and synthetic biology. His work has focused on tissue dynamics, full-body regeneration, and stem cell biology in planarian flatworms, as well as the systematic characterization of the yeast proteome through synthetic biology approaches.
Qualifications
Dr. Weill completed his PhD and MSc in Biology at the Weizmann Institute of Science, where he developed a novel yeast library to study the proteome. He then pursued postdoctoral research at the Max Planck Institute for Multidisciplinary Sciences, developing molecular transfection methods and investigating tissue and stem cell dynamics.
