Essay Competition Awards Ceremony 2023
Winners and finalists of the 2023 Essay Competition were invited to our celebratory event, welcoming students and their families to our beautiful campus in St. Katharine Docks.
The events were a great occasion. Winners, finalists and their guests for Digital & Technology Solutions, Business, Economics, English, History, Law, Philosophy, Politics and Psychology came from all over the country and further afield, along with entrants of the Digital Futures Competition.
It truly was a day of celebration! Talks were given on University Life and subject specific information sessions on application advice (including types of degrees you can take at uni BSc, BA etc, further reading, transferable skills, study skills and career options) were held by staff and ambassadors.
The day culminated with an award ceremony and celebratory reception. During the award ceremony, the celebrants (Rob Farquharson, Dr. Callum Barrell, Dr. Marianna Koli and Jessica Terekhov) distributed the certificates and medals to the finalists. Following the award ceremony, students and parents were invited to the celebratory reception where they had time to talk to other entrants, take pictures with their achievement and enjoy the food and drink provided.
