Leadership and Management for the 21st Century

This course will examine leadership and management in contemporary organisations. Case studies and current research will be used to explore the significance of human Northeastern University London MSc Applied Digital and Technology Solutions factors in leadership, leadership skills, leadership versus management, strategic leadership, cultural perspectives and leadership theories. Learners will undertake reflective practice to develop their own leadership and management style and evaluate their professional values. Learners will develop a critical appreciation of the management activities and leadership skills that are required to build dynamic, high-performing teams. A variety of management activities from change management, self-management, talent management and managing projects will be examined.
