Opportunity in motion
Spend up to 18 months overseas at our campuses in Boston or other North American locations. Depending on where you choose to spend your final year, you may be eligible for Post Study Work Visas in the U.K. or Optional Practical Training in the States.

What are my options?
As a full-time undergraduate student, you have two options to earn a unique double degree option with just one additional year of study, granting you work rights in both the U.S. and U.K.
- Double bachelor’s degree: a U.K.-validated degree earned during your three-year study at Northeastern University London, plus a U.S.-validated degree in the same discipline with just one additional undergraduate year at Northeastern’s Boston campus.
- Undergraduate plus master’s degree: a U.K.-validated undergraduate degree at Northeastern University London, plus a master’s degree at one of Northeastern University’s campuses across the U.S. and Canada. The masters could be as short as a year although not guaranteed this length.

How long is my programme?
Northeastern University London students in the double degree programme can choose either the standard four-year programme or an accelerated three-year programme:
- In either programme, students will spend the first three years studying at Northeastern University London, with the option to study overseas on Northeastern’s campus in Boston during the second semester in their second year.
- Students in the four-year programme can choose to spend their entire fourth year studying at Northeastern’s campus in Boston.
