Date: 7th July
Time: 12:30pm – 1:15pm
Location: Virtual
Have your say in shaping NU London’s Data Scientist degree apprenticeship.
We’re seeking to bridge communications gaps in the life sciences industry by addressing skills needs to create biology literate data scientists.
Following industry consultation NU London have developed proposals for a new data science apprenticeship programme with integrated life science content, from understanding cells and molecules to frontier topics in bioscience.
The proposed programme will develop data scientists who are competent analysing big data, whilst understanding the science behind it and who know what questions to ask when interrogating data and creating visualisations.
Join our session which will cover:
- Brief introduction to the Level 6 Data Scientist apprenticeship
- Overview of the proposed new curriculum specifically for the life sciences sector
- Information on next steps including how to feed into ongoing consultations and to express your interest in the programme.
The session will also include the opportunity to ask questions, with your engagement and partnership highly valued as we shape this new and exciting programme to deliver data skills in the Science industry.
