How and where to publish your poetry

The poetry publishing world offers countless opportunities, from traditional print journals to digital platforms, competitions, and anthology calls. Yet for many poets, knowing where to start—or how to navigate submission guidelines, simultaneous submissions, and crafting compelling author bios—can feel overwhelming.

This workshop will equip you with practical strategies for getting your work published. We’ll explore the art of strategic submission, share insights from successful poets, and demystify the submission process from query to acceptance.

You’ll also discover what postgraduate creative writing study looks like at Northeastern University London. Our panel will provide an in-depth look at the MA Contemporary Creative Writing programme, followed by a live Q&A session where you can ask our faculty anything about advancing your craft through formal study.
