
Deposit requirements
If you require a visa to study in the UK, you must pay a £3,000 deposit before the university can issue your Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) for your student visa application. This deposit is refundable in certain circumstances.
Payments from a UK bank account can be made via bank transfer, and Payments from any bank account outside the UK should be made through our secure TransferMate portal. Full details on how to pay your deposit are in your offer letter on your applicant portal.
Tuition fee payment options
Tuition fees can be paid in one lump sum, semesterly instalments or by monthly Direct Debit. Semesterly payments are the most popular option amongst our students.
Home students who are taking out a tuition fee loan will not need to pay their fees to the university, as these are paid directly to the university by the Student Loans Company.

Making tuition fee payments
Once you complete registration, your tuition fee amount and payment plan options will be available through your online student account in a system called Quercus. All tuition fee payments must be made via this platform. Please note that credit card payments incur an additional charge.
