Travel support
We are delighted to provide financial support to cover the cost of travel of individuals who wish to visit the University for the following events:
- Open days
- Offer holder days
- Interviews
- Celebration events
- In person taster lectures
- Summer schools
Eligibility
You must be a UK (Home domiciled student) and also meet one of the following criteria to qualify for financial support:
- You attend an aspiring state school or college. Click here to download the excel sheet for the full list of eligible schools.
- You have been in/or are currently under Local Authority Care
- You are estranged from your parents or guardians
- You are eligible for free school meals (FSM)
- You are a forced migrant, refugee or asylum seeker
- You are a young adult carer
- You live in an area of lower progression to higher education or high deprivation (we will assess this on your home postcode)
Important information
- When planning your journey that you should book the cheapest ticket (economy-class) and the most direct route to the University
- All expense claims must be supported with valid receipts
- You must submit your claim within 2 weeks of attending the event
- We can cover up to £200 towards your travel costs, and up to £100 towards the travel costs of one guest
If upfront travel costs are a barrier, please contact us at wp.team@nulondon.ac.uk before the event and we can arrange to pre-book your travel on your behalf.
