Equip your leaders with the skills to govern, direct and oversee AI across your organisation.

Unit Overview

These units are designed for individuals in, or aspiring to, leadership roles with responsibility for setting direction, governance, and oversight of AI within their organisations. They offer a short, flexible training option that can be funded through the Growth and Skills Levy, or government co-investment for SMEs, supporting employers to rapidly upskill their workforce in response to one of today’s most pressing skills gaps.

The following apprenticeship units are available at Northeastern University London.

AI Strategy and Opportunity:

Designed for leaders responsible for setting direction and overseeing AI use, this unit builds the foundational knowledge needed to lead on AI with confidence — covering what AI can and can’t do, and where it could add real value for your organisation. It’s particularly well-suited to organisations in the early stages of exploring AI, where the priority is building understanding and identifying where to start.

AI Adoption, Procurement and Governance:

This unit is for leaders involved in deciding how AI is adopted and governed within their organisation. It covers the practical side of bringing AI in responsibly — evaluating options, making the business case, and putting the right governance and assurance frameworks in place. A strong fit for those who need to move from awareness into action on AI and digital technologies.

AI Delivery and Organisational Transformation:

Aimed at leaders overseeing how AI is implemented across their organisation, this unit focuses on the safe and effective delivery of AI-led transformation. It’s suited to those responsible for ensuring AI solutions are properly embedded into day-to-day processes and ways of working — not just adopted in theory but working in practice.
