Applying through Clearing
Thousands of people apply through Clearing every year. Whether you didn’t get the grades you expected, or you’ve changed your mind, it’s a great way to find your ideal course – and we’ll support you every step of the way. Simply follow the steps below.
1. Prepare for your Clearing call
Once your grades are confirmed, call our Clearing number and we’ll do everything we can to find you a place on your ideal degree programme. You’ll need to tell us your:
- UCAS number – you can find this on your application in UCAS Hub
- contact details – such as your name, address, phone number and email
- the degree subject you are interested in studying
- results – including GCSE grades or equivalent Level 2 qualifications
2. Phone our Clearing number
- We’ll need to speak to you directly. We can talk to a parent or carer with your permission, but the conversation should really be between you and us.
- Once you’ve provided all the relevant details, we’ll try and secure your place on a suitable degree programme.
