NU London offers International Academic Excellence Scholarships to students who demonstrate exceptional academic calibre

Scholarship Value

This scholarship is worth up to £1000 per year for the first three years of study. The scholarship will be deducted directly from tuition fees payable to the university at enrolment. To receive the scholarship in Years 2 and 3 you will need to be in good standing and maintain an average of 2:1.

To be eligible to receive the scholarship students must have achieved grades of A*AA at A-Level (in the subjects specified in the offer) or the equivalent.


There is no need to complete a separate application form to be considered for the scholarshipStudents will be considered for an award on the basis of the information they provide in their UCAS or direct application to the University. 


  • Only available to Year 1 entry students who are overseas fee payers.
  • You must have achieved the overseas equivalent of A*AA at A level in one sitting.
  • You must confirm Northeastern University as your firm choice via UCAS or accept your offer by the deadline date indicated on your offer letter. Those entering via clearing or, those who selected us as an insurance choice on UCAS will not be eligible.
  • The scholarship is deductible from tuition fee payable at enrolment.
  • Recipients cannot defer their entry and scholarship to the following year.


If you require a visa to study in the UK, an overseas bond of £3,000 is payable prior to the University issuing the Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) number required for your student visa application

When to pay

You will pay your tuition fees directly to the University. You can pay your tuition fees on a termly or annual basis. Please note there will be a charge if you use a credit card.

How to pay
