Get up to £100 towards travel expenses

We are delighted to offer generous travel funding for all students attending our open day on 27th June 2026.

Prospective students are eligible for funding worth up to £100, comprising up to £50 towards your travel and up to £50 towards travel for a guest. This funding can be used for any form of travel in economy class, or mileage for travel by car.

How to claim your travel funding

You can claim reimbursement of your travel costs to our 27th June 2026 Open Day via Blackbuillion. You’ll need to have your receipts ready to upload.

Simply provide us with the details requested here by 10th July 2026.

• When planning your journey you should book the cheapest ticket (economy-class) and the most direct route to the university
• All expense claims must be supported with valid receipts
• You must submit your claim within two weeks of attending the 27th June 2026 open day
• We can only cover travel costs of up to £100 – up to £50 for you and up to £50 for a guest

Enhanced travel support

You must be a UK (Home domiciled student) and also meet one of the following criteria to qualify for enhanced travel support:

  • You attend an aspiring state school or college. Click here to download the excel sheet for the full list of eligible schools.
  • You have been in/or are currently under Local Authority Care
  • You are estranged from your parents or guardians
  • You are eligible for free school meals (FSM)
  • You are a forced migrant, refugee or asylum seeker
  • You are a young adult carer
  • You live in an area of lower progression to higher education or high deprivation (we will assess this on your home postcode)
