Abin Varghese

Biography

Abin Varghese is a Visiting Researcher at the Intelligent Networked Systems Institute (INSI), Northeastern University, London, working with Prof. Bipin Rajendran. He is broadly interested in nanoscale electronic devices for neuromorphic and in-memory computing applications. He is also an Assistant Research Professor in the Department of Materials Science and Metallurgy at the University of Cambridge.

He completed his joint-PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, India and Monash University, Australia, where he studied the electronic and optoelectronic properties of nanoscale devices based on 2D materials and thin film oxides. He obtained his master’s degree in physics from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram, India.
