Biography

Anees Baqir is an Assistant Professor of Data Science at Northeasetern University, London, with experience in teaching, research, and industry. His research investigates the spread of information and misinformation and the social and polarization dynamics in the online environment. He is also a research fellow at the Complex Human Behavior (CHuB) lab at FBK, Trento, Italy, where he works on European-funded project, ‘AI-CODE ‘, to study misinformation consumption and polarization in federated and traditional social media. He is also a member of the Complex Systems Society.
