Engage with the world, from the vantage point of a culturally diverse global city.

Biography

Davide is a PhD student in Network Science at the Complex Connections Lab, under the supervision of Prof. Riccardo Di Clemente. He holds a master’s degree in Data Science from the University of Trento.

His research explores how complex systems and network science tools can be adapted and refined to extract meaningful features from large-scale real-world datasets. Drawing on urban, mobility and behavioural sciences, and health informatics, his work aims to inform humanitarian response and public health interventions.

In 2025, he completed an internship at the United Nations Centre for Humanitarian Data (OCHA), where he contributed to HDX Signals, a monitoring system that tracks key humanitarian datasets and triggers automated alerts when significant negative changes are detected, and a dashboard for flood exposure monitoring.
