Houssem Sifaou

Biography
Houssem Sifaou is a Research Fellow at the Institute for Intelligent Networked Systems at Northeastern University London. His research interests include machine learning for wireless communications, reinforcement learning, and memory- and energy-efficient LLM fine-tuning.
He received the Engineering degree in Signal and Systems from Tunisia Polytechnic School in 2014, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in 2016 and 2021, respectively. From 2021 to 2023, he was a Research Associate with the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Imperial College London. From 2023 to 2025, he was a Research Associate with the Department of Engineering at King’s College London.
