Biography


Jiayi Huang is a Visiting Researcher working with Osvaldo Simeone in the Intelligent Networked Systems Institute (INSI) at Northeastern University, London. He is also a Research Fellow in WMG, University of Warwick.


His research focuses on reliable inference, with a particular emphasis on Bayesian learning, data-driven risk quantification, and reliable decision-making under uncertainty.


Jiayi Huang received his PhD in Information Engineering from King’s College London in 2026, where he was supervised by Professor Osvaldo Simeone. He holds a BEng in Telecommunication Engineering from Hohai University (HHU), Nanjing, China, in 2019, and a MEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from South China University of Technology (SCUT), Guangzhou, China, in 2022.
