Biography
I am a PhD student at the Network Science Institute, Northeastern University London, working under the supervision of Prof. István Z. Kiss. I hold a bachelor’s degree in physics from the Federal University of São Carlos and a master’s degree in computational mathematics from the University of São Paulo (USP). During my master’s and PhD studies, I have focused on modeling spreading processes, such as epidemic dynamics and social contagion, on complex networks. My research experience includes network reconstruction from dynamics, non-Markovian infection processes, and spreading dynamics in higher-order networks.
In a broad sense, I am interested in applying tools from physics and mathematics to biological and social systems, as I believe these approaches are essential for addressing many of the challenges facing our generation. Beyond research, I am committed to fostering a collaborative and human-centered approach to science, one that is created by people and for people.
