Biography
Dr. Ka Ho Tsoi is an Assistant Professor in Transport Planning at Northeastern University London, where he serves as Programme Co-lead of the BSc (Hons) in Transport Planning. His research addresses critical challenges in sustainable transport, focusing on decarbonisation, negative transport externalities, transport policy and planning, and travel behaviour.
He holds a PhD in Geography from The University of Hong Kong (HKU), where his dissertation examined strategic pathways for sustainable transport across global, regional, and local scales. He also holds an MSc in Transport Planning with Distinction from the University of Leeds and a BSocSc in Geography with First-Class Honours from HKU.
Prior to joining Northeastern University London, Dr. Tsoi was awarded the prestigious RGC Postdoctoral Fellowship at HKU for his three-year project on global strategic pathways for sustainable transport.
