Biography
Dr Lauren Adams is an Assistant Professor in Biological Sciences & Academic Practice within the Centre for Apprenticeships. She is also the Centre’s Associate Director for Belonging.
Lauren has an undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences, and both an MSc and PhD in cell biology. Lauren joined Northeastern University London in 2021 to help create our BSc Bioscience with Digital Technologies apprenticeship degree programme.
Lauren teaches on topics across the breadth and depth of molecular and cell biology, physiology and laboratory science. Her research interests lie in the cellular mechanisms that underpin rare human diseases.

Teaching
Dr Lauren Adams teaches on most of the courses in the BSc Bioscience with Digital Technologies apprenticeship degree programme, across Levels 4, 5 and 6.
Lauren also teaches the ‘Integrated Anatomy & Physiology I’ course to our first-year Global Scholars students.
