Biography
Jordan is a PhD student supervised by Dr. Sara Raimondi in the Politics and International Relations department at Northeastern University London. Her research focuses on the impact of the National Health Service’s (NHS) digitalisation and its biopolitical implications post-Brexit. Outside of her PhD research, she has extensive experience in policy analysis, public outreach, and academic support services. Her broader interests center on equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) in public health, policy, and development.
Prior to her doctoral research, she earned an MSc (Hons) in Global Public Health from the University of Greenwich and a BA (Hons) in Science, Technology, and Society from Colby College.
She is also a member of the 54th Thomas J. Watson Fellowship class, through which she received a $40,000 grant to conduct a year-long research project in 12 countries on refugee family healthcare and its complex relationship with industrialized systems. Collaborating with non-profits, government agencies, community advocates, and legislators, she collected narratives of how displacement affects refugee healthcare access.
