Engage with the world, from the vantage point of a culturally diverse global city.

Biography

Raj is a second-year PhD student at the Network Science Institute in London, under the supervision of Prof. Giovanni Petri. Formally trained in robotics engineering and cognitive/computational neuroscience, his current work focuses on the patterns that emerge in the organisation of information in learning systems and their impact on cognitive processes. His work ranges from investigating the trade-offs in humans and machine learning models that arise during generalisation, the patterns of dimensionality reduction in the motor system, to identifying vocal patterns in sperm whales through Project CETI.
