Biography
Waleed Iqbal is a Lecturer in Data Science at Northeastern University London. He is also a Teaching Fellow in Computer Science at School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science, Queen Mary University of London. He received his PhD in Computer Science from Queen Mary University of London.
His research interests are broadly in Manifestation of Socio-Economic Inequalities in Online User Activity. He also received his MS in Computer Science (with Dean’s Roll of Honors) from Information Technology University, Lahore, Pakistan and his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (with Honors) from University of The Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan. Previously, he worked at IHSAN Lab in Information Technology University Lahore, Pakistan as affiliated researcher and research associate.
Waleed has also advised several startups and growing software development houses as Consultant for Machine Learning and Natural language Processing (NLP) based infrastructure deployments.
