Biography
Zsófia Zádor is an Assistant Professor in International Business and an affiliate faculty member at the Network Science Institute at Northeastern University London.
She earned her PhD from the University of Greenwich, where she focused on trade networks. Her research lies at the intersection of network science and economic geography, with a central focus on economic networks. She investigates how various economic phenomena—such as innovation, trade, the labour market, and inequality—are shaped by today’s networked world. Her primary interest is in inequality in cities, and she is currently exploring the effects of remote work on social mixing, urban characteristics, and mental health.
Zsófia’s research is highly interdisciplinary and collaborative, engaging with public and private sector stakeholders. Her work has been presented at interdisciplinary conferences and published in leading academic journals.
She has taught a range of courses for business and economic geography students, with expertise in quantitative methods and programming as applied to organisational and business studies, as well as theory-driven and research-based subjects in economic geography.
