Ceremony Schedule

Graduating students and their guests will need to arrive at the Queen Elizabeth Hall entrance at 10:30, check in with graduation staff to receive your Tassel card and then follow the signposts to the gowning and photography in the foyer. Morning refreshments will be available in the foyer for all students and guests.

Your guests will need to take their seats in The Queen Elizabeth Hall between 12:30 to 12:45, for the ceremony to commence at 13:00. The ceremony will last approximately 1 hour and will be followed by a drinks and canapé reception in the foyer. Further information, such as the order of awards, will be shared with graduating students and their guests on the day.

Getting to the Southbank Centre

Gowning, photography will take place in the foyer – this is where you will need to head to when you arrive. There will be graduation staff in place to guide you and your guests.

The Ceremony will take place in The Queen Elizabeth Hall, and the drinks reception will take place in the foyer. A free cloakroom will be available for use in the foyer.

Essential Information for Graduates

✔ RSVP and Guest Tickets – Each graduand is entitled to four (4) guest tickets, with additional tickets available subject to capacity.

✔ Academic Dress – All graduands are required to wear the official university academic dress, which must be ordered in advance by December 7th, 2025. Click here to reserve your cap and gown.

✔ Photography – Professional photography services will be available at the venue, but it is recommended to pre-book to avoid delays and guarantee a photograph. Click here to book photography.

Post-Ceremony Celebrations

Following the formal proceedings, graduates and their guests are invited to a reception where light refreshments will be served. This is an opportunity to celebrate your success with your guests, fellow graduates, faculty members, and university staff.
