Home student funding
The UK Government Postgraduate Loan (PGL) provides funding of up to £12,858 [CH1] per student for postgraduate master’s study in the U.K. and is available for students normally residing in England.
The PGL will be a contribution toward the costs of study and whether the loan is used towards fees, maintenance or other costs will be at your own discretion. There are separate loans for students domiciled in Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland.
To determine if you are eligible for a Postgraduate Loan, please consult the Student Finance Zone. Applications for Postgraduate Loans for all our master’s programmes are now open.
