Rebecca Maccabe's Research
Rebecca Maccabe is an experienced teacher with a background in educational research. Her most recent research has focused on designing and delivering localised peer assisted study schemes to raise student attainment, particularly from underrepresented groups. Rebecca’s research interests include widening participation in higher education, student-centred learning and peer mentoring/coaching. She has been awarded a Fellowship of the HEA for her work on forming effective learning communities and advocating students-as-partners.

Rebecca Maccabe's Teaching
LAUNCH: Introductory Capabilities
This module is designed around experiential learning as students gain industry insight, engage in real-world learning and develop key transferrable skills to propel future prospects. Students develop skills in writing and presenting, marketing, working in teams and research skills.
LAUNCH: Applied Capabilities
This module involves applying skills in practice through the creation of a new concept and the development of a website or app. Students benefit from mentoring and industry expertise to be creative, make mistakes in a safe learning environment and learn by doing.
